Super Moon Day Greetings

Monday, August 10 So I am going to start writing a Lunar current every Monday and you'll be able to find it right here at Metaversal Moon. Waning Moon slips into Cancer early this morning, accenting the lunar vibrations of Monday, ruled by the Moon. It’s a good time to unclutter our space, simplify life, and take at least a bit of time to look at feelings and release hard attitudes towards ourselves. An afternoon harmony from nurturing Cancer Moon to Mercury in helpful Virgo favors generating compassion in communications or inner work, going to a treatment or therapy, organizing our diets and making curative food, drinks or potions. The healing vibrations continue this evening as Moon trines psychic Neptune in Pisces, favoring forgiveness and contacting the angels and other positive spiritual forces, either before going to sleep or in dreams. High-tension currents run through our lives today as mental Mercury crosses paths with electric Uranus. Although our nervous systems are firing on all cylinders, the Moon’s entry into self-contained Cancer at 8:08 am EDT makes it difficult to express our brilliant ideas. We know what we must do and we put on our best show, even if it’s a subdued version of our inner world now. Nevertheless, our originality and rebelliousness still finds a way out. When the Moonis in Cancer, You might be a little sensitive during this Moon. Unfortunately, everyone else is too. If you find yourself in deep water now, look to your intuition to get you out. The real issues are often hidden on Cancer Moon days, or dealt with sideways. People tend to circle the emotional wagons, reach for their antacids, and privately nurse their wounds. The collective unconscious is four years old and wants its mommy. Go ahead, seek nurture today. It's like that children's story where the baby bird, tumbled from its nest, quizzes all comers, "Are you my mother?" Only you're looking for the World Mother. You'll find her in a cozy place where you feel safe and loved; in a cup of tea, a mid-day retreat to your bed or a smile from a friend. Whether or not you have issues, it's a good Moontime for sharpening your emotional intelligence. Distinguish foods that nourish (both real and symbolic) from those that bring heartburn.
